[Lincolnparkdc] FYI -- Future of RFK -- H.R. 4984 - Congressional Markup on NOW

Who says there has to be taxpayer funding? What if it was entirely
privately funded, like Sofi Stadium, the newest NFL stadium?
No one wants acres of surface lots. (Lack of imagination and creative
thinking is a hallmark of some sclerotic politicians.) That’s where
development should go. The two parking structures built at Nats Park were
hardly used at first, and seem to be barely used now.
Plus stadiums now are used year-round as major venues for concerts and
other entertainment.
