[Lincolnparkdc] Ford Explorer parked in crosswalk at Kentucky and East Capitol

Neighbors,

This Ford Explorer is consistently parked beyond the parking signs and
sometimes is within the crosswalk at the North end of the 100 block of
Kentucky.  The vehicle is very large and blocks drivers’ ability to see
pedestrians who have just entered the crosswalk. It also makes it
impossible to see if there are bikes or cars idling on Kentucky Ave as you
turn the corner from East Cap to Kentucky.

If this is your vehicle, please abide by the parking signs. I’ve called
parking enforcement a couple of times but would rather not have a
neighbor’s car ticketed. I know parking is tight in the evenings but it’s
10am on a Saturday and it’s still there, and usually is when kids are
walking to school in the morning.
