Hi, Mark--
Yelp shows  786 Jewelry and Watch as still operating and scheduled to be open between 3-7p this afternoon, although this can vary.
Owner Azeem has done good work on several watches of mine and I highly recommend him.
I left him a VM to see if he if he is going to be in this afternoon and when.  Haven't heard back as yet.
You might want to call (202)506-3242 before making the trip over.

Is there any place on or near the Hill that repairs watch bands?  Just need to replace the spring bar that holds the watchband to the watch.  The place on 10th & E (786 Jewelry and Watch) appears to be out of business according to Yelp.

Mark, on the corner of 11th and Penn SE the southwest corner next to the dry cleaner, there is a watch repair place.

We take our watches to the fellow at Union Station. His shop is on thebasement level across from the Post Office just as you go out the doubledoors to the Metro station entrance.
