[Lincolnparkdc] Package theft thwarted

This morning at 11am in the 100 block of 11th St SE we challenged a woman opening our neighbors packages on their stoop. 
We took the packages & items off her  and told her we were calling the police. The thief ran off down the alley tween 11th & 12th.
We reported this the the police immediately with a description of the thief:
Middle aged slim African American woman wearing a bright red plaid jacket, dark wool cap, jeans & dark backpack. She’s missing some front teeth.
Very helpful 411 operator put out a report to dispatch police to search for thief immediately.
