[Lincolnparkdc] NO PARKING ON Kentucky Avenue for Five Weeks

No parking signs have been on posted on west side of Kentucky for its entire length from Lincoln Park to Barney Circle. The only exception appears to be the short stretch from E Street to Potomac Avenue.  The prohibition is from next Monday, May 17 to Saturday June 19. 

Does anybody know why? Why does it have to be prohibited for the entire stretch for the entire time.  It seems quite excessive. The signs are official.  The contractor is listed as First Choice Masonary. 

It is occurring at the same time parking prohibited starting tomorrow on the 200 blocks of both 13th and 12th SE for repaving.
