Hi Margaret,
I believe that your neighbor Pat, at 107 had her floors redone.  I don't think that she is on the list serve so may not have read your message.  I don't have an email address for her.

As for us, we have all had our vaccines.  Diana took me for both trips to Washington Hospital Center and I rode with her to the Safeway one day.  And I finally got my hair cut yesterday.

 Bob is walking a bit better and usually wearing shoes.  I finally got an appointment to renew my driver's license  at the end of this month.  John is still working at home two days a week which is when I try to run errands.

I would appreciate recommendations for:

1)  Refinishing 1895 (original) hardwood floors

2)  Hardwood floor company that sells & installs

3)  Feedback on pros and cons of installing a Water Shut-off Device [automatically shuts off house water if a leak is detected].  I'm concerned about false positives in a home with a renter (flow rate fluctuates).  Also need a reputable plumber to install (Bauer doesn't).
