[Lincolnparkdc] In support for the bike lanes on Capitol Hill

I don't consider Eli's comment trolling at all. DC is ranked as one of the
best cities for living without a car and as non-car infrastructure
continues to be improved and shared vehicle services increase, I wouldn't
be surprised if in 10-years we do move to a situation where portions of the
city become car free (like in Madrid for example) or eliminate most
public street parking in certain areas. The City is a lot more pleasant
with fewer vehicles. When my old beast of a car finally dies or goes off to
college, I'm seriously considering shifting to uber/rentals for my pretty
limited driving needs. But it's hard to let things go and move on to a new
paradigm, as some of the comments in these threads show, so don't point and
laugh if you see me in a new car instead.. But when I'm 80, I'll be happy
for a flying uber to drop me off at home instead of paying insurance on a
car I rarely use and worrying about finding a public parking space.
