[Lincolnparkdc] Bike Safety Lane Controversy

I hesitate to join these comments, as I'm not directly affected by the proposed changes, living on E. Capitol and I have absolutely no expertise in this matter, but for my less than 2-cents worth ... 
I find all these pylons to be somewhat distracting while driving, having the opposite effect of promoting safety.  Perhaps consider painting all the bike lanes one VERY bright color (red, green, etc.) so it would be uniformly obvious to all across DC. I believe this was depicted in one of those videos sent around ages ago. This would include all the areas of the city without the dreaded (and ugly) pylons and except for maintenance (repainting), fairly inexpensive. Just a thought ...Linda13th & E. Capitol
