Participate in the Ward 6 Front Porch Happy Hour - Councilmember Allen has
come up with a creative idea! From his office: "In these unprecedented
times, I know we're all working hard to practice social-distancing,
while keeping some semblance of normal daily life. With tomorrow being the
first day of Spring, our office thought we'd encourage a way to build
community, and support our local businesses via a Ward 6 Front Porch Happy
Hour

While we know not every neighborhood in Ward 6 has a front porch, we want
this to be as inclusive as possible. We've set up a Facebook event link as
a place for neighbors to RSVP

sitting outside in their respective spaces to enjoy some warm weather,
while also maintaining the recommended 6' apart! Please help us promote
this this, and tailor it to whatever works best for your
community. Additionally, we thought that since the Council passed
legislation allowing for our local businesses to continue delivering food
and certain adult beverages, we could highlight the businesses in your BIDs
and Main Streets that are still providing this service".
