Throughout the weekend fans will dance to the sounds of some of EDM\u2019s biggest headliners and edgiest artists like a b2b with <a href="https://projectglowfest.com/lineup/#official-playlist" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(2, 162, 228);">Aluna </a>and <a href="https://projectglowfest.com/lineup/#official-playlist" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(2, 162, 228);">Kaleena Zanders</a> to <a href="https://projectglowfest.com/lineup/#official-playlist" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(2, 162, 228);">Subtronics</a> and more! On both days, doors open at 1:00 p.m. and end at 11:00 p.m., with <b>20,000 expected attendees for both days.</b><br><br>As a Destination Partner for <a href="https://worldpridedc.org/" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(2, 162, 228);">World Pride 2025 </a>in Washington, DC, Events DC proudly hosts the <a href="https://worldpride25.com/" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(2, 162, 228);">World Pride Music Festival </a>on June 6-7. This unforgettable weekend will feature with music, art, and celebration. With performances from <a href="https://worldpride25.com/artist-lineup/" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(2, 162, 228);">Jennifer Lopez</a>, <a href="https://worldpride25.com/artist-lineup/" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(2, 162, 228);">Ru Paul</a> and <a href="https://worldpride25.com/artist-lineup/" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(2, 162, 228);">Troye Sivan</a>, this is set to be the biggest LGBTQ+ music festival in history! On Friday and Saturday, doors open at 1:00 p.m. and end at 11:00 p.m., with <b>35,000 expected attendees for both days.</b><br><br>The <a href="https://www.vanswarpedtourdc.com/" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(2, 162, 228);">Vans Warped Tour</a> is making a triumphant return in 2025 marking its 30th Anniversary and relaunching the brand for years to come. This festival will conclude the Spring Festival Season on June 14-15, featuring genres of rock, punk rock, alternative, pop punk, emo and more. The iconic festival will have a continued focus on community and nurturing the next generation of artists, musicians and extreme athletes. On Saturday and Sunday, doors open at 11:00 a.m. and end at 10:00 p.m., with <b>40,000 expected attendees for both days.</b><br><br>Soundchecks may take place after 8:00 a.m. on event days (May 31, June 1, 6, 7, 14 and 15).<br><br><br><br>Several VMS (Variable Message Signs) boards will be placed throughout the community, guiding attendees towards parking and the event. Event parking will be in Lots 1, 2, 3 and 6, and Oklahoma Avenue Lawn will serve as overflow parking. The festival gate entry will be at The Fields Pavilion, events will take place in Lot 8/8A. <br><br>Fencing has begun being placed around the Anacostia River Trail, Independence Avenue and C street, and remain through September. There will be temporary access closures around Lots 5, 7 (near Field 3) and 8 during event times. However, the access points to the trail will remain open from The Fields (between CareFirst Field and Fields 1 and 3) and Benning Rd.<br><br>Please expect high volumes of pedestrian and vehicular traffic during event times and at least until 11:00 p.m. on both days of The Vans Warped Tour and until 12:00 a.m. for both days of Project GLOW and World Pride Music Festival. Rideshare pick up and drop-off will be in Lot 6 (near Benning Road and Oklahoma Avenue). <br><br>There will be increased traffic around the RFK Campus for this event. MPD (Special Operations Division) and DDOT (Traffic Control Officers) will be deployed to manage traffic and pedestrian crosswalks around the campus. <br><br>Kingman and Heritage Island, The Fields and Skate Park will remain open, however public parking will be closed on event days.
