One last thought on the stadium, after years and years of promises from the city and fundraising, the Fort DuPont Ice project was nearly axed. When the mayor responded to the uproar, the project continued but the design was cut in half. Further, when my kids

 were at Maury Elementary, (granted, this was 5 years ago) the PTA paid the salary of TAs in the classrooms that the city did not provide a budget for. The PTA also paid for supplies like toilet paper and paper towels which were often running out. So if an

 NFL deal does include public funding, that is a non-starter for me. </p>

 time show so not sure I should count that as a non-football event.  I also went to the Chiefs Arrowhead Stadium to see what events where scheduled there that were non-NFL events…. The only one listed was the upcoming October Beyonce concert….
