I installed solar about 10 years ago (100 block of Kentucky).</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:small">While I can't be certain this what you read about, there have been reported instances of Pepco charging customers installing solar a fee to upgrade a local transformer.
