<u><b>DCWater does not have an exact date yet</b></u>. They require a special permit to undertake nighttime work which in turns needs the endorsement of the ANC commissioners for the affected single member districts, in this case ANC6B05 (which I currently
represent) and ANC6B08. We will be providing them with that letter later today. Once they get the permit, they will determine the exact date of the water shutoff.
<b>They will notify residents, 72 hours in advance, through doorhangers</b> on individual addresses. In the past, they have usually been diligent at doing this. But, it doesn't always work. If you live on one of the affected blocks, keep an eye out for this.
