One Metro employee was taken to the hospital but is expected to recover. Fortunately, a passenger on the train found the emergency call button and reported the fire.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Eastern Market Metro has a crime scene investigation in progress, so expect that to take a few hours. Not sure if they've moved the train or not. If so, trains might have to bypass the station and may be single-tracking.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I have no further information but might try WMATA.
