Early last week around 7 pm we heard two loud knocks, and when I opened the door I saw two kids running down the street who appeared to be approaching other houses and doing the same thin.</div><div dir="auto">More disturbing was the second incident that occurred las Saturday at 10 pm when an extremely loud slamming noise to the front door was powerful enough that while shy of breaking the door open did result in breaking the frame of the door. It took an effort to secure the door temporarily before having a contractor repair the frame.</div><div dir="auto">We called the police who arrived in about 10 minutes. They said they want people to report any similar incidents whether a burglary occurs or not. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div id="composer_signature" dir="auto"><div style="font-size:12px;color:#575757" dir="auto">Sent from my Galaxy</div></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div><br></div><div align="left" dir="auto" style="font-size:100%;color:#000000"><div>-------- Original message --------</div><div>From: ednaboon@gmail.com </div><div>Date: 4/28/22 9:45 PM (GMT-05:00) </div><div>To: lincolnparkdc@lincolnparkdc.info </div><div>Subject: Re: [Lincolnparkdc] Odd door knock behavior 100 block 12th NE 8 pm </div><div><br></div></div>I thought I heard a knock at 10th and North Carolina around 9 - only heard once and no door bell was rung. <br><br><div dir="ltr">Sent from my iPhone</div><div dir="ltr"><br><blockquote type="cite">On Apr 28, 2022, at 9:37 PM, Heather Diehl <heather.diehl@gmail.com> wrote:<br><br></blockquote></div><blockquote type="cite"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="auto"><div dir="auto">Hi, Neighbors.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Sharing in case this is a pattern. </div><div dir="auto">It could be prank knockers, or someone casing.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">At 7:59 pm an individual rushed up our walk from a black bicycle, (a companion on another dark-colored bicycle remained on the sidewalk, obscured by bushes, gesturing at their companion), on to our stoop, stepped on the actual door threshold, facing away from the camera, double knocked hard, turned and ran down the walk.
