Somebody just changed to a different excuse box they used to explain why they hadn’t delivered rather than say they had when they hadn’t.</div><div><br></div><div>This is all before the new USPS delivery standards go into effect tomorrow. </div><div><br></div><div>Recently others posted to this list how pleased they were with their carrier. I’m wondering why more routes don’t have permanent carriers. Is there a hiring freeze? Can they hire but can’t offer enough compensation? Is it part of bigger problem that many jobs are going unfilled due to lack of applicants? </div><div><br></div><div>I don’t think local post office manager has the resources/authority to solve the problem.
