I was somewhat surprised they put down for a month. Nonetheless they posted on Friday or Saturday and showed up on Monday!</div><div>I spoke to contractor. He said they would likely finish by Thursday laying conduit. Then PEPCO arrives doing their part. I hope they are gone this week but that is probably wishful thinking on my part. </div><div>There is a big truck with digging and compressor that needs to go In That spot so I wont not be presumptuous about the scope of their work or designated parking requirements. I think they cordoned off three spots. Looks like two would have sufficed. I think they will be tearing up the sidewalk next.</div><div>I’ve played that game too when looking for parking and read the signs so I know what I am risking. When contractor has a team on site they are paying I don’t think they hesitate to call the wrecker to make a space for their rig. <br>Paul<br><div dir="ltr">Sent from my iPhone </div><div dir="ltr"><br><blockquote type="cite">On Sep 27, 2021, at 10:14, John Hirschmann <hirschj154@gmail.com> wrote:<br><br></blockquote></div><blockquote type="cite"><div dir="ltr"><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><div dir="ltr"><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><div dir="ltr"><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">Paul<div><br></div><div>I understand the frustration, but a couple of observations. The signs say they are for 100-199 Kentucky. Clearly far fewer spaces are really needed. Also went into effect last Wednesday, but people saw nothing happening so they tend to start to ignore. Finally when ABL were added in the spring, there was major overreach in terms of signing, just to have contractors work around it. </div><div><br></div><div>You probably remember what we heard as kids about “yelling wolf” in the woods once too often. </div><div><br></div><div>John<br><br><div dir="ltr"><div>John F <span style="font-size: 13pt;">Hirschmann </span></div><div>hirschj154@gmail.com</div>Sent from my iPad</div><div dir="ltr"><br><blockquote type="cite">On Sep 27, 2021, at 09:44, Paul Krupa <paul.krupa@gmail.com> wrote:<br><br></blockquote></div><blockquote type="cite"><div dir="ltr"><span>Utility work in front of 159 Kentucky this week.
