WE‘VE ALREADY HAD TWO FATAL ACCIDENTS IN THE IMMEDIATE NEIGHBORHOOD IN ABOUT THE LAST FOUR MONTHS. IM SURE WE DONT WANT MORE. </div><div><br></div><div>There is also a new no left turn sign on the Island well South of Independence on Kentucky. I totally don’t understand the logic is putting a no left turn sign up in the middle of the block. Today the Bike Lane signs were installed on the West side of the 100 block of Kentucky Ave SE as part of the Advisory Bike Lane project. The DDOT contract workers advised they will return tomorrow to place No Parking signs along the West side of 100 block
of Kentucky Ave going south from the East Capitol intersection. Instead of 20' of no parking the workers said they will be blocking off approximately 80' (my best guess). Currently there are six cars parked in the curb space that the contract workers advise
will become no parking. </div>
