<p class="MsoNormal">As a reminder to everyone, keep your car’s remote-control key protected from being cloned. You can clone one of these devices with inexpensive technology and they scan for them as they walk past your house. Do not keep it near the front
door or windows (i.e. if your bedroom window is on the front of the house and you have a nightstand or dresser near the window). This is within the range of their scanners. Keep these keys protected by putting them in a drawer or box, at lease 15 feet from
the front of the house. Every wall (i.e. drawer or box cover) will impact the signal and make it harder to scan and then clone. If you can unlock/lock your car from where you store it, it can be scanned and cloned.<o:p></o:p></p>
