[Lincolnparkdc] "Mini marathons" are good for kids

Not to start anything, but the Capitol Hill Classic has been run 44 times
in May over the last 46 years, and is the Cluster Schools' (Peabody,
Watkins, and Stuart Hobson) single largest fundraiser each year. One
morning's inconvenience of a "mini marathon" is hardly too much to ask for
the support it provides for hundreds of public school students and
teachers. As for not knowing, the course route was signed for well over a
week. I personally hung 88 signs myself on Saturday, May 17th, from 9th to
13th along both sides of East Capitol St and along the southern edge of the
park, and then put up new signs after all the rain the following Friday.
