I went solar in 2012 and since that time have been paid around $35,000 in
SREC revenue for doing nothing at all.....the return on investment is
impressive.
Selling your SRECS to the installer is an option if you are not in a
position to or don't want to lay out the capital. But just make sure you
understand what the terms of the contract are if you want to sell your
property because the installer will have an interest in the solar array on
your roof.
