[Lincolnparkdc] Possible Arson at 12th and Independence

We have a house guest who walked out our front door about 8:00 and crossed Independence. He didn’t see anything.

Neighbors,

 

This morning at ~8am someone set fire to our pride flag, which was hung on our gate under the fig tree (see attached photo). Thank you to the neighbors who stomped out the fire and alerted us to the possible arson. A police report has been submitted during which time we were informed of another case of possible arson occuring in NE this morning. The police officers recommended we reach out to our neighbors in case anyone saw the act or anything suspicious around our home (201 12th St SE) this morning. If you did, please let me know and I will provide you with the police officer's contact information.
