[Lincolnparkdc] removal of DC Government?

Dear Lincoln Park neighbors,  

Here is an important letter in the Washington Post on Feb 25, 2025 written by one of our close neighbors, Nan Raphael.  It addresses the potential removal of our DC government and is incredibly well written.   

I am going to use it to send to friends outside of the DC area asking them to protest on my behalf by contacting their own individual congressmen — as I have only a limited voice (through Eleanor Holmes Norton) in our Federal government.    

I’d also like to say that Tuesday’s Letter to the Editor section / Opinion Section in the Washington Post is probably the last issue where Bezos did not put his thumb on the scale and limit the topics we are allowed to write about!  Shameful.
