[Lincolnparkdc] Ventless dryer

Hey Neighbors,

I'm having to replace a compact washer/dryer (stacked), as our old Bosch compact Axxis washer just went kaput, and I figure I'm not the first person in the neighborhood with space issues.

I'm finding that more and more of the compact dryers (24 inch width) are going with the ventless (sometimes heat pump) technology--much more efficient, popular in Europe, etc. Our old one is vented, so we don't have to be making holes in walls, but the top-rated ones (Miele in particular) seem to be ventless, with a surprisingly few number of vented options. (Few options for the compact size, in any case...)

Some people online seem to hate them because they take so much longer and the clothes "don't feel dry." I'm wondering whether anyone has experience and opinions to share. Feel free to email me directly if you'd like to pass any thoughts on to me.
