Hi Jessica,

I have found DDOT Director Sharon Kershbaum to be extremely responsive,
especially when the appropriate council member/s are cc'd on your email.

I would send your message directly to her with Charles Allen and anyone
else you think should be cc'd. Lt. Seth Anderson oversees our Police
Service Area.

Director Kershbaum won't be able to fix this serious issue right away but
making community concerns known at the top doesn't hurt, and she can convey
your and her concern to the appropriate parties. The crossing you're
speaking of is terrible, even in broad daylight -- from whichever side of
the street you're crossing from, the second lane of traffic over still
can't see a pedestrian on the curbside and it's a toss-up whether they stop
or even slow down.

Thank you!! Hilary (13th & Independence)
