[Lincolnparkdc] MPD walk and movie in Lincoln Park on Friday, Race Sunday, and 6A Transportation meeting Monday

Dear Neighbors,
Apologies for multiple cross postings, but the below announcements may be of interest to members of this listserv. 

Friday 5/17 MPD Safety Walk and Movie. The forecast looks promising, so please join MPD and 6A and 6B Commissioners for a safety walk at 7 pm in Lincoln Park, followed by a movie on the east lawn at 8 pm. 



Capitol Hill Classic Sunday 5/19. Cheer on neighbors and move any vehicles from the route for this race around the Hill in support of Capitol Cluster Schools. With curbs absent of cars, it is also a great time to sweep gutters of any debris to better allow all the rain we are getting to get to the catch basins. 6A Transportation and Public Space Monday 5/20. Meeting at 7 pm will feature a discussion on WMATA’s proposed revisions to the bus network, sidewalk investments and DDOT’s Notice of Intent for 17th Street NE.
