[Lincolnparkdc] Bee keeper

Hi Cindy,

I'm sorry to hear that you've got bees attracted to your window.  They,
like many insects, are attracted to light.  The bees are likely coming
towards the light, landing on the window screen and then in the dark, can't
navigate their way back to their hive. During these cold nights the bees
need to cluster together to keep warm. But there aren't enough bees on the
window screen to keep one another warm so they perish in the cold.  I'm
happy to stop by and take a look.  But in the meantime, consider keeping
the light off or the window covered with shades to minimize the
likelihood of attracting the bees. Or, if they are attracted to a nearby
porch light, consider changing the lightbulb from white to red because
insects can't see red lights and won't be attracted to it.
