[Lincolnparkdc] Metro Proposing to Eliminate 96 Bus

Thanks for the alert on this. The 96 gets folks to Tenley. D6 to Sibley.
1. Would they add buses to the D6 route?
2. Was this a request to ANCs for issues of better mobility or…?
3.The 96 travels around the park. Did a resident request that there no
longer be a bus route in front of his or her home? Seems a route around the
park would be a good central stop, and I understand (second hand info.)
that a resident has wanted the 96 bus stop moved from in front of his house
for a while. Why decrease buses around a public park but increase them on
streets that are entirely residential?
I use the 96 and D6 frequently. Both routes are valuable options across
town.
