I spoke with Mark Hamala on the phone this afternoon. He went digging to
see what options are open for us neighbors.
He said we could formally request the record to be reopened, and submit
more letters into the record.
Below is a automatic voicemail transcription (with homonym errors, etc)
that he just left for me.
"Hi Heather, this is Mark Hamala from the DC office, Zoning. We spoke not
too long ago on the phone about uh Pacci's restaurant. Let's see. So I'm
giving you a call to say that you are able to submit a request uh to have
the board reopen the record. Um And that will be up to the board if you
wanna do that. Um Please go to the uh DZ DC Oz web page and you'll be able
to find a form 153. You wanna fill that out and you'll need to, um, as part
of that filing demonstrate why uh the record needs to be open and why any
party uh wouldn't be purchased [harmed?] by reopening it. Uh So late, then
you're also going to need to notify the applicant, uh the representative,
uh the A NC and the S MD. And then if you have anything else that you wanna
add into the record, like written testimony, you'll include that as well.
And then the best way to submit it is through BC A submissions at dc.gov.
And uh just part of the process is we will take it uh in and we will
provide it to the chair, but you won't be able to see it into the record.
You won't be able to see it online in the record until the board, uh,
chooses to approve it or not. Uh If you have any questions for me, you can
call me back at this number or at 2027270368."
