[Lincolnparkdc] Pacci's needs neighborhood help

Like many of you, I sent an email to the Chair -- and watched the debate.
It sounds like he gets it but his fellow board members agree with the
planning office, despite what the neighbors/community wants. Not sure
emails matter since they said the record is closed. Having seen that space
vacant and, to my knowledge, the second floor has not been used
residentially for years, it seems very bureaucratic not to allow the
expansion of this asset to the neighborhood and city. And would someone
want to live above a restaurant with noises and smells? I hope they will be
a bit more forward thinking about the best use. But what do I know -- I'm
in no way a city planner or expert, just an observer of that space and our
neighborhood.

Sounds like they will make a decision March 13? It sounds like an uphill
battle and that is frustrating given it's not what the neighborhood wants.
Seems like a restaurant expansion would serve the greater good.
