But then, in a bombshell development, Musk’s real motive behind the
scuttling of the ballpark plan was exposed.

According to an investigation by Lincoln Park Newsletter freelance
newshounds Tommy Woodward and Scherzer Bernstein, the true reason the
billionaire tried to stop the deal was a secret SpaceX plan to transform
the aging stadium into a massive launchpad for SpaceX, the spaceship
company that has billions of dollars in federal contracts.

“We must stop this insane space cadet plan,” said Sen. Elias Lassie
Barkenhoffer, a Democrat from Delaware and chairman of the canine caucus in
the Senate. “We can’t be launching rocket ships in a densely populated
urban environment.”

Documents Sen. Barkenhoffer leaked exclusively to the LPN newshounds reveal
that Musk actually wants the stadium for his evil scheme to launch
spaceships into space for the secret purpose of finishing construction of a
Death Star for the autocratic Galactic Empire

Alliance stole the plans and destroyed it at the Battle of Yavin. Musk’s
SpaceX has agreed to finish up to two Death Stars that have remained
incomplete for years.

To fulfill the contract, Musk wanted the RFK site to launch supplies and
materials into space.

plans to revert the land where the stadium is located back to the city.

Musk mimicked Councilmember Allen and the grumpy stadium naysayers, who
have posted misleading and erroneous yard signs that say the turnover of
the land would result in a payout to billionaire sports team owners.

because it would mean “shelling out hundreds of millions of dollars from
taxpayers.” Musk picked up Allen’s typically histrionic and monotone
musings and used them to almost kill the transfer of the land to DC.

Under Musk’s top-secret, eyes-only plans, obtained by the famed
Woodward-Bernstein watchdogs, SpaceX would charge fans to watch a launch of
the spaceships from the center of RFK Stadium.

President-elect Donald Trump was so enamored with the plan, he initiated
orders to rename the stadium *RFK Jr. Stadium* for his vaccine-skeptical
HHS secretary nominee, according to sources who spoke with Maggie
Blabberman at The New York Times.

The irony for the knee-jerk, anti-stadium, retromingent contingent is that
they were aligned with Elon Musk and wishing for Congress not to return the
land to D.C., which would have left a sea of asphalt next to the Anacostia
River. For Musk, the wasteland was a perfect place for rocket ship
launches.

Under the original turnover plan, there was no scenario that would leave
parking lots undeveloped — except in the delusional minds of the
anti-stadium crab-heads and the Biker Bro absolutists.

The Senate’s early-morning action now kills Musk’s clandestine, ambitious,
evil launch-pad plans and queers his deal with the Empire.

The team played at RFK Stadium two miles east of the Capitol from 1961-96
before moving to Maryland. Musk saw the vacant site as a perfect place for
a launchpad just two miles from the Capitol, where members of Congress
could see the fruits of his labor.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: What the hell?

RE: RFK Stadium

I don’t agree with the view of the LPN but what the hell.

You did miss the historical fact that the site of the stadium was
originally intended to be the site of the Supreme Court, creating a line of
government branches from the Anacostia, to the Capitol, the White House,
the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial.

The Court objected since it placed them in no-man’s-land, away from the
power centers and no place for lunch. Had the Court been located at the
stadium site, East Capitol homes would have been replaced with government
buildings.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — The District’s population has exceeded 700,000
residents for the first time in five years, according to new U.S. Census
Bureau data.

On Thursday, officials released new data showing that from July 2023 to
July 2024, the city gained approximately 15,000 residents, bringing its
population to 702,250.
