[Lincolnparkdc] FYI -- Future of RFK -- H.R. 4984 - Congressional Markup on NOW

I consider whether I want a stadium in the that space before I consider the cost. Presently, the noise and the barren parking lots don’t do anything to support a stadium. The economic development never materialized for RFK unless you consider the parking fees homeowners collected for makeshift parking.
RFK is a sprawling wasteland. The only glimmer of attraction there is the soccer fields. Compare that to the stadiums in Southwest DC or Baltimore (baseball not football), RFK doesn’t compare as a location with that potential. Why would an owner want to repeat the RFK experience when they can join the other stadiums with their existing infrastructure and support environment?
