Mayor Muriel Bowser has nominated Richard Jackson to be the next Director of the Department of Energy and the Environment, the agency many of us helped create so many years ago. The DC Environmental Network has known and worked with Acting DOEE Director Richard Jackson on issues of importance to our movement for well over a decade. Richard has been a friend and colleague to many and the DC Environmental Network plans on testifying in support of his nomination.

You all are welcome to attend the hearing. You do not have to testify in support. You can also use the hearing as an opportunity to urge the new Director to engage on your most important environmental concerns.

Let's show some advocacy strength. Sign up to testify here. <https://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=001fgfFiG2KTVdBT59tYmCMW3LS8b6k_b69JqtpYL-whAqwNJWRssN12tHcjFV47Ua6_Ba3LuyXA9xmeHEX_igaHjdVBYX7Oim24E343Z3OL_5uZMaWtEDeFBOBfCDdFOsmePrrFj3r25y-Zsb0y08ezY79gsLaANsCMz5xr-DkBrTMC2Mty0iWguuIzZ15AvtAD2bs9NxDUrfrC5qRoz0ZYcphiwDz8yoXgKUPCLOLb6rZ1yKBwa27_NVbw9_aaB8KszVUWqxzCzIZsdF522QfEMdLarwzOun3&c=QEwlC3uP1mqbodWP6JVrx36-a4UwjwYwMHdB7gagGENLLmiXsSd8yw==&ch=NBUZtcUeD7my1QRlSvQnponbvAUvxVq7_LAwY-MWLWSa5W_FAzyiXA==>
