Thank you for sharing. If your amended timeline is correct, this means it took 35-40 minutes for MPD to provide a lookout.  I find that unacceptable if you hope to catch the perpetrators in the act. I’m assuming 911 was promptly called. 

The MPD posting was quite incomplete. Did not say if anything besides car was taken, number of suspects or their description.  Was a weapon shown or threatened.  It appears there was about five perpetrators. 

It looks like they came down 13th Street from Lincoln Park. It looks like a target of opportunity. I don’t see any evidence of hiding. Given the location of the hijacking, you would not see people walking south down 13th until the last second.
