Join us on Tuesday, October 10, at 7 pm in Baxter Hall at St. Marks 301 A Street SE.

We’ll welcome DC Councilman Charles Allen, who will discuss ways we can understand the connections between racial and economic inequity, the harmful effects of mass incarceration, and how to promote public safety, specifically in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

We’ll view a 15-minute documentary film called “Redemption,” which features men from DC who have rejoined their communities after serving time in prison and are working toward violence prevention.
