[Lincolnparkdc] Security walks

Neighbors,

A Wednesday night walk is wrapping up as I write this.  *Many thanks* to
the core group of folks conducting walks on Wed/Friday over the past 3
weeks.

We are building momentum and creating something sustainable.  If you'd like
to be a part of *Eyes on Lincoln * please sign up for a walk slot at Eyes
on Lincoln

estimate that we need around 10-15 more neighbors to sign up for 1 to 2
walks a month in order to sustain the initiative.  15-20 more neighbors
doing 1-2 walks a month would allow us to expand the number of walks per
week.

We are also working on a way to create a "safe escort/guardian angel"
function to match people arriving home late at night with a neighbor that's
willing to meet and accompany them to their doorstep.  More to follow on
this...
