People who see me outside my house at the corner of East Cap and Kentucky
have asked about Daisy, and I am sad to say that she died last month. She
had end stage kidney failure, which came on suddenly and surprised me and
our vet, and she was gone within a week of her diagnosis. She was a sweet
and lovely dog (although she did like to bark; she was a rescue and
especially disliked tall men - until she got to know them), but it was all
bark.
Anyway, that's the reason you don't see her any more, in my yard or at the
cemetery.
No need for condolences unless you really want to say something, but, if
you have a pupster, please give her/him a big hug and sloppy kiss for me.
Diana
The photo is from my camp in Maine. She loved Maine and the floating dock,
but she HATED the water. Go figure.
