This is an opportunity for you to make a difference as crime, especially
violent crime, increases and comes closer to us in Ward 6.  Recent
“AlertDC" messages suggest that violent crime is getting getting loser to
where we live, that is, this listserv.

Filling out the survey may make a difference in the kind of police chief we
will have in DC and how competent they are in meeting the challenge of
increasing violent crime - shootings, stabbings, car-jackings, muggings and
the like.
