[Lincolnparkdc] Eastern Market 150th Birthday

Neighbors,

You may not be aware of this, but 2023 marks the 150th anniversary of
continuous operations at Eastern Market.  Community stakeholders are
planning a schedule of activities and events throughout the year to:
a) *Deepen
our Understanding of the History* of the market b) *Promote the Vendors,
Artisans and Merchants* that earn their livelihood through the market
c) *Leverage
the anniversary to Promote the Arts* and d) *Celebrate the Community* that
supports the market.

There is a meeting in the North Hall this evening (28 Feb) at 7PM to
discuss the current schedule of planned events and solicit feedback.  All
are welcome.

Advisory Committee--please expect a few notes from me about the market from
time to time!
