[Lincolnparkdc] Dog attack in Lincoln Park

This evening my little 18 pound jack russell was attacked by a lightweight blond boxer. My dog was on a leash.  Theirs was off leash.  The owners said they lived in the neighborhood.  

My dog has never been attacked like that in Lincoln Park before, and when I asked the owners they said that the dog had only attacked like that over food.  This was NOT  a food related attack. It was unprovoked.  If the owner had not been there to grab their dog, I don’t know what would have happened.  

If this has happened to anyone else on the list serve i would so appreciate a response. It was an incredibly terrifying moment.
