[Lincolnparkdc] 100 bl Kentucky Ave Block Party TOMORROW!

Good morning everyone!

I hope by now you've all seen the flyers, and the Emergency No Parking
signs posted for tomorrow's block party on Kentucky Avenue! We have lots of
fun stuff planned and we hope everyone can attend and meet your neighbors.

We're pulling out all the usual games including Jenga, Cornhole, possibly
my makeshift ping pong table if I can excavate it from my basement, AND the
always popular Bicycle Skills Course. And if you have a firepit, bring it
out to the front if possible.

One thing we forgot to mention: Since we're so close to Halloween, we will
have a *HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARADE* for kids and pets. Costumes for
everyone else are encouraged, though not necessary! ;-)

Here's a loose schedule for the day:

10am Street Closes *PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO MOVE YOUR CAR!!!*
10am- 12pm Street Clean up (Free leaf bags will be available!)
1pm *Grab a name tag*, and help us set up tables, tents, lights and games
3pm Pinata smash
4pm Halloween Costume Parade
4pm Fire up grill, appetizers and drinks
5pm Main Courses, Sides and Salad Potluck dishes
7pm Desserts and bring your own s'mores for firepit cooking!
9pm Street clean up and breakdown
