[Lincolnparkdc] Noise level coming from RFK concert

Doesn’t bother me either. 

The organizers get a permit, they use some of the biggest open space left in the city, it’s right on top of a metro and also on the edge of the neighborhood so hopefully traffic impacts aren’t terrible. 

And once again here’s a friendly reminder that even if our immediate neighborhood feels very village-y and quiet most of the time, we do live in a capital City, and there are lots of events for all different kinds of people. They might not listen to the kind of music we like, or dress the way we like, or whatever, but our city is here for them to use and enjoy all our resources just as it is for us. 

If the sound of a music concert in a city is bothersome to you maybe look into a good set of storm windows because I think it does help mute the noise, at least that seems to be our experience though the bass does thump.
