[Lincolnparkdc] Join Bike Roll and Read to School Day tomorrow (Weds, May 4), 7:30 am at Lincoln Park

Please join all our local schools tomorrow in celebrating national bike and roll to school day at our own event at Lincoln Park.

We'll kick off at 7:30am with activities, snacks and giveaways (thanks to DDoT, DC Water, National Park Service, National Center for Safe Routes to School and the Capitol Hill Community Foundation).

Ward 6 CM Allen will emcee, Mayor Bowser will speak, and we'll also briefly hear form local and national advocates for safe routes to school.

We'll be treated to a performance by the Eastern High School marching band and then schools will join bike trains or walking groups to get to school on time.
