[Lincolnparkdc] Save Mott's Market Update

A number of you have asked for an update on the renewed efforts to save Mott's Market (233 12th Street SE).  

Many of you know that the new owners (who intended to turn Mott's residential) have placed the building back on the market just a month after purchasing it.  (Apparently they found a property they liked better on G Street SE; there is no indication that they uncovered something unhappy with Mott's.)  

After some amazing fundraising over the last week or so, we already have $300,000 in pledges.  In order to make a strong down payment and cover initial carrying costs, we need only about $75,000 more.
