[Lincolnparkdc] Utility Contractors on 11th St SE this week

There were two sets of contractors working this week, both working for gas company (Washington Gas Light or WGL).

One group was replacing a gas service line (from the main to the meter) at 143 11th.  I think that was done by Precision Pipeline Services if I remember correctly.

A second group was repaving near the intersection of 11th, N. Carolina, and E. Cap after an earlier gas leak there.  I don't recall what name their trucks had.  I noticed that they did not fully replace the concrete island in the middle of 11th.

I also noticed that the contractors left their tree protection fences on 11th (and on Independence Ave near 11th, where gas work was also done this week).  That seems to be normal; they leave their fences until needed on another worksite, using the streets as their warehouse.
