[Lincolnparkdc] anti-spam service affecting others

Hi Peter:

The issue isn’t whether Mia (or anyone else) can post to the list in reply to you. It is that her address, or identity if you will, and that of others is being changed as a result of you using a certain anti-spam service and it is not clear when the changes happen. I share her concern.

I appreciate your interest in reducing spam. I use a similar service in certain circumstances. However, in this case you are a subscriber to the list. Apparently then you don’t regard messages from this list as spam. If you did, you presumably wouldn’t be a subscriber. Therefore you should consider using your actual email address to subscribe.

I am going to moderate your messages as long as you continue to use the anti-spam service that affects other subscribers. Your messages will be withheld until I have a chance to review them and can forward them to the list. However, please note that I check for deferred messages only infrequently, which means your postings may be delayed for days or even weeks. You will continue to receive other subscribers postings as they occur.

The alternative is for you to use one of your true email addresses so that other users of this community service are not affected by your choices.
