[Lincolnparkdc] One more gofundme question

Just a thought that if someone can figure out what $5000 represents (one month of income plus the cost of the window, for example) it might make the ask more powerful. And I would also say that the best long term thing we can do is continue to patronize the business regularly. Dig out a few old things that you haven’t had to dry clean but probably need it and bring them by!

The latter doesn’t need to be the recipient’s number, just some account number that receives the deposits. So if it were someone’s checking account here on the list, for example, the funds would then be ultimately withdrawn from that person’s account to be transferred to Young, presumably a check, perhaps a cashier’s check. The goal and the contributions to date are always visible to all so everyone will know how much has been collected.

>>> Hi all. Please weigh in on what amount I should set as a target for the campaign. Also, can anyone tell me how this normally works in terms of collecting and transferring the money? Young was already a little nervous about the whole idea -- I'm afraid that if I ask for her social security number and bank account information she'll shut the whole thing down. Is it okay if I just collect the money and give it to her? Can someone who has done this before give me some advice? Thanks! Sarah von der Lippe
