Thanks for the information. My one perspective (as the owner of the
Cupboard at 1504 at East Capitol) is these stores are difficult to manage,
dealing with DCRA, ABRA, payroll, inventory, finding good employees etc is
painful. We have had more than one employee who has been drinking on the
job, smoking
Pot, customers stealing etc.
And if you can’t sell wine/beer- making a profit will be difficult. That is
basically how we make $- plus our deli.
Just be prepared for all the nuances and maybe find a consultant to help
you out with the store logistics.
