[Lincolnparkdc] Kentucky Avenue Block Party

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to remind everyone that the Kentucky Avenue Block Party is coming
up on *Saturday October 9 10am-10pm! *

*Yes* it's a holiday weekend, BUT the Block Party committee has come up
with so many fun things to do I think you will want to be here for all the
fun stuff, like:

   - Giant Jenga
   - a Bouncy House
   - Pro Hopscotch
   - Pinata (a Covid spike protein, so we can all take turns)
   - Bocce Ball on Poopy Island. Anyone have a croquet set? Pickleball?
   - Corn Hole (or, as it is also known in my household, Bean Bag Toss)
   - *Mini Streetscape* with stop signs, cones, and even a traffic light
   for kids to ride their bikes and scooters!
   - Totally non-olympic grade Ping Pong
   - Kentucky Avenue Trivia (start thinking about what we might ask!)
   Prizes for most correct answers!
   - *Potluck!* Bring your own dishes to share responsibly with utensils. A
   Kentucky Avenue recipe book is coming too!
   - Smores over fire pits late-night-late for people like me, which is
   8-9pm!
   - . . .and more!
   - *Send us any ideas you have for other things we can do for our 12 hour
   fun day on the block. *Fingers crossed for good weather!

We will have lights to keep the party going beyond sundown, and also *please
submit your favorite pet photo* to me for table decor AND potential
Adorable Pets of Kentucky Avenue 2022 Calendar (tm pending-lol).

We will have plenty of hand sanitizer, wipes and single-use utensils for
our potluck.

open to all our friends on nearby blocks.
