[Lincolnparkdc] What to do about scooters?

Hi,

I believe at one of the many ANC forums where the bike lanes around Lincoln
Park were discussed, allowing scooters and bikes to park in the areas at
the end of the block where cars are not allowed was specifically discussed,
as a benefit for the shared ride conveyances with the changes. For example,
on the 100 block NE of 13th street, there are new scooter parking areas at
the edge of the block where cars can’t park. There are rails to lock
scooters now. I think Tennessee and Kentucky Ave are in different ANCs so
this may have come up in one meeting and not the other.

I would actually confirm with DDOT this is a problem, and not an intended
situation.

Hannah
(On Tennessee Ave, still very annoyed by the loss of several parking spots
on the block and the promise of more losses nearby with NC Ave updates)
